The Republic of Todia issues official identity documents in accordance with the legal status and classification of its citizens.

 

• Passports are strictly reserved for permanent citizens of the Republic. Overseas and local citizens are not eligible to obtain a Todian passport.

• Physical ID cards are available to local and permanent citizens only, and serve as official proof of identity within the Republic.

• Digital ID cards (Targeta d’Identitat Digital – TDI) are available to all categories of citizens, including permanent, local, and overseas citizens.

 

These provide a modern and accessible form of identification within the national system.

 

In order to request any of the above documents, applicants are required to provide their National Identification Number (NIN). Citizens who do not yet possess a National Identification Number must contact the Ministry of Internal Affairs at internal.todia@proton.me, which will proceed with issuing one in accordance with national procedures.
