Segons la Constitució, Todia es governa sota una república presidencial unitària sota una democràcia no partidista, amb el president com a cap d'estat. El poder executiu és exercit pel vicepresident com a cap de govern, que presideix el Consell de la Presidència, juntament amb el president i l'alt councellor.
La prerrogativa de proposar i promulgar lleis correspon a l'Assemblea General, que té la facultat de modificar les lleis vigents i d'aprovar i proposar noves lleis. Aquesta potestat legislativa compartida també s'aplica a cada revisió de la Constitució.
According to the Constitution, Todia is governed under a Unitary presidential republic under a non-partisan democracy, with the President as head of state. The executive power is exercised by the Vice President as the head of government, who presides over the Presidential Council, alongside the President and the High Councellor.
The prerogative to propose and promulgate laws belongs to the General Assembly, which has the power to modify current laws and approve and propose new laws. This shared legislative power is also applied for every revision of the Constitution.
